Arrived Safely

Hello to everyone. Well we arrived in Oman safely after a long flight. We flew 14hrs to Dubai then spent 3hrs at Dubai Airport before boarding a 1hr flight to Muscat,Oman. We purchased our visas at Muscat airport, 6 omani rial(around 20 aust dollars) and headed for customs. All the worries about customs were unfounded as we were only asked one question as we passed thru customs which was "Is this your first time in Oman?" Easy. We were met at the airport by a driver from Schlumberger (the company Carrie works for) and after a 20 min drive we arrived at our hotel. It was so nice to be able to put our stuff in the room and go and find a cold drink and take a dip in the pool. The hotel is of a good standard and we are comfortable here but we are looking forward to finding and moving into our own place.
