Our House....the outside anyway
Here are a couple pictures of our house. We don't have a key yet so we couldn't take any of the inside. It is a stand-alone house which is good. There are a lot of places here which are villas so they are joined to another place. The owner should start doing some work on it next week. Most of the old airconditioners are coming out (so that big ugly thing won't be near the front door) and they are replacing the car port and doing painting. We hired a car today and had our first drive around Muscat.
We went well and didn't have any problems with driving on the
right side of the road. It is a little weird being on the left side of the car though. It shouldn't take long to get the hang of it.

The house looks very good. Need your sunnies on though - very white!. Info on the blog is good and the pictures give us a good idea of what it's like.

Enjoyed reading your Blog so far. Your new adventure sounds very exciting. I bet you're glad Ramadan is over now. Good luck with the shift into the new house. Living in a hotel always sounds glamorous but there's no place like your own. Look forward to reading more of your adventures.

Your house is amazing. Yor Mum was right it does resemble the Taj Mahal. It looks cool though. Bet you can't wait to move in with all your new furniture
